The community of Weed has always prided itself on diversity and progress. And it is with this in mind, as the mayor of Weed, I would like to welcome you to our wonderful city.
Our community is constantly looking toward the future and seeking new ways to expand our thriving area. The city has many building, development and rehabilitation projects scheduled this year. This is a very exciting time for the city of Weed and our community. Weed lies in a beautiful area with pristine surroundings, including majestic Mt. Shasta towering above us at over 14,000 feet.
Our alpine setting brings us a true four-season climate that has intrigued people from all over the world to locate here. For some, Weed is a place to get away from it all and enjoy the tranquility of small town life.
